The founder president of PSA Mr. Yasin Hussain Jaffri, a famous freedom fighter in Pakistan Moment, started a new initiative in January 1930 under the guidance of Nawaz Bahadur Yaz Jhang. The basic objective of this moment was to create awareness in the young Muslim student about independents mother land for the Muslims initially this moment was called “Nazam Scouts”.

After creation of Pakistan Mr. Yasin Hussain Jaffri migrated to Pakistan and on the guidance given by Quai-e-Azam M.Ali Jinnah. Mr. Jaffri started a new initiative in Pakistan under newly created organization at that time called “Pakistan scouts Association” (PSA). The basic objective of this organization was to train the young generation of Pakistan in the area of social services. This organization played a very vital rule in initial settlement of refuges from India, helping people in natural calamity specially floods and training the young generation to meet the crises.

Subsequently the word “Scouts” was banned to be used and “Pakistan scouts Association” has named as “Pakistan Social Association” with the same objectives which were of original organization. During the last 62 years PSA has played a very effective rule in training the young generation to work in organized manner against social evils and in natural calamities.

The basic aims of this organization always remain “To get the pleasure of GOD through service of Humanity” PSA has always remained proactive in adjusting its sails to meet the new challenges. Recently PSA has observed the fact that there are new emerging challenges to Pakistan that includes need for Economic empowerment especially in ruler areas of Pakistan, assist the government in maintaining the effective law and order and also to prepare the young generation for meeting the new challenges being faced by Pakistan. The latest project include “E-village” “Margala Panther” “Crime Stoppers” and “Bawaqar Pakistan”.
